In collaboration with Primary Wave Music, the National Museum of African American Music is celebrating the career of James Brown during this year’s celebration of Hip Hop’s 50th anniversary. The Museum is showcasing an exhibit that will explore James Brown’s iconic career through objects associated with his fashion, musicianship, and social justice initiatives. The exhibit will be unveiled on Thursday, September 7th at 2:00 pm CMT in the museums Lobby Gallery.
